Scarborough Holiday Village - lovely spacious drive through site right next to the marina. Went for walk around marina - some massive houses with beautiful outlook over water. Adam called over with Freya and had dinner. Great to see them again - Freya is growing up. Drove into Redcliffe and walked along pier and the shops. Never seen so many shops and cafes along one stretch of street. Went along Bee Gee's Way - dedicated walkway to the boys with memorabilia, photos, statues and a full screen tv playing them singing their songs - really cool. Were going to twilight markets at Redcliffe but called off because of rain. Went round to Adams instead for pizza and watched Spies in Disguise.

Al had the car checked out twice whilst we were here and they did both front and back brakes. Fingers crossed it has fixed the problem. Booked the Horizontal Falls in WA and booked site at Discovery Park in Broome.

Managed to get in Redcliffe markets before the rain and bought fresh veg, fruit and honey. Coffee and danish in a cafe here. Finally got on my bike and rode to Newport checking out all the waterfront houses - some 3 stories high and absolutely huge. Checked out Moreton Bay Boat Club and Morgans Seafood restaurant. Al practised with drone - actually starting to get the hang of it - takes really good photos.

Having a problem with ants in the van - found a huge nest of them under waeco outside - done lots of spraying.

Went to Morgans Seafood place with Adam and the kids - lovely afternoon - kids were good and meal was yummy.

Drove to Maleny and Montville via Lake Baroon. The lake is very picturesque from a distance. Grabbed an ice cream in Maleny then had a walk around Montville - pity the markets weren't on. Called into The Barrel at the Cloud Vineyard. Place looks like a giant barrel - very cool. Had a drink and bowl of chips then headed home and went round to Adams for dinner. Maybe last chance to see kids before we leave on Thursday. Thunder and lightening on our last day. Couple next to us from Cairns advised to book in as parks were pretty full up there. Couldn't get in to our first choice but managed to get in to NRMA park.
