Noosa caravan park. Nice park, site opposite camp kitchen and playground but very quiet. Fella from park helped Al get on site as it was very tight with palm trees everywhere. Lovey swimming pool that we never got to use - too busy. Met Dale and Wyatt at Peregian skate park. Great to see them again. Wyatt really good on skateboard. Called in to see Dim, River and Bodhi. Riv a bit under the weather after having tonsils and adenoids out. Bodhi took to us straight away with hugs and kisses. Went to Noosa national park and walked to Alexandria Bay 4.5k each way - a 2 hour walk. Walked across beach to Hells Gates where Al took some great pics with the drone. Walked back across beach and saw 3 or 4 nude men - it's a nudist beach. Adam's girlfriend Mambo's for dinner - she had prepared a Korean BBQ and it was delicious. She is really lovely - Adam is lucky to have her. She does remedial massage from her home. Sat around firepit which Adam had made and had a lovely night. On the way to Mambos we hit a kangaroo which tore off the inner wheel guard and dented the front passenger side bumper. Thankfully car still driveable. About $3000 worth of damage.

Drove to Boreen Point but not much there just a huge lake with an average of 1.4M depth. Called in to Apollonian Hotel built in 1860 and had lunch. Al had smoked meat lunch and I had loaded potato with pulled pork and coleslaw. On the way home called in to Tewantin marina and had the biggest gelato you've ever seen. Went on the sunset cruise which was really good. Beer, wine and music. Owner was from New York - really nice and chatty. Visited Hastings Street Noosa - absolutely packed - hard to get a park. Ranger seemed to be on every corner. A 1 bed 1 bath unit is over a million dollars here. Got kids a toy each thought it would cheer River up. Riv loved his smash egg that had slime and crazy stuff in it. Wyatt for the Operation game and Bodhi a barbie set. Up at 5 next day to drive to Tin Can Bay to feed the dolphins. We got one fish each and fed Patch. Only 2 dolphins there, Patch and Ella and the only place in the world to have humpback dolphins. Had a bacon and egg roll before we left. Drove to Rainbow Beach - black powdery rock along shoreline. 4wd allowed on beach with permit. Next to Inskip point where the barge goes across to Fraser Island. Al got some great shots with drone. Stopped at Mount Tinbeerwah - amazing views from scenic lookout. Last day went to Eumundi markets - not as big as I remembered. Dodged showers between stalls. Imperial Hotel, home of the Eumundi brewery was not doing tours or tasting because of covid. Dale and Dims for Indian on our last night. Bodhi stuck to me all night - it was gorgeous. Dale gave us a couple of big steaks from his work.
