2 hour drive to Coral Bay Bayview Caravan Park. This place is just magic - right across the road from Ningaloo Reef. Walk across the road onto the beach and onto the reef. Such a beautiful place - has to be one of my favourites so far. Only 2 caravan parks here right next to each other each with its own cafe. It's a large park with jumping pillow, playground and pool. Amenities are old (what's new) but ok. There's a small shopping centre and Bills Bar across the road from our van. Set up and went straight for a snorkel - lots of fish but the water is quite cold. Saw a blue spotted manta ray - very cute. Sunset was good but not a patch on Cable Beach or Middle Lagoon. Went to Five Fingers Reef for a snorkel - can't see enough about snorkelling on Ningaloo Reef - just amazing, heaps of fish. Al got a short ride on his kayak but it was a bit windy. On the drive back came across Snapper Headland - absolutely jaw dropping - the reef, the dark blue water, the turquoise water and the beach. Spotted a manta ray which Al got with the drone. Got a couple of starfish from the shops for the van and a t-shirt for me. On bore water here and it is SO salty, can't put it in your kettle or drink it. You swim in the salty ocean then come out and have a salty shower :) After searching for Bills Bay found out it is actually the beach we're on :) Started snorkelling further up the beach and drifted down passing lavender gardens and Ayres Rock, a brain like coral. Heaps of fish again and finally spotted a turtle - so exciting to be so close. Went floating by then rested on the coral. On our last night decided to do a pub crawl of Coral Bay - all 2 pubs. Walked down to Shades Bar and Cafe then back up to Bills Bar.
