Rain, rain and more rain , stuck here for 8 days due to flooding all the way up mid north coast.

Forecast for next week is rain and really windy too. Al put extra straps on awning....just as well. Harrington an older park, lots of permanents but pool and amenities are spotless. Got a few walks along breakwall in between showers. Drove to Ellenborough Falls one of the largest single drop waterfalls in Australia. Al walked down to base...640 steps...that means 640 steps back up...not for me thank you. Sunsets Cafe was recommended which didn't open til 10 so we hung around til then and when we got there it was closed. Came back to Breakwall Cafe where Al had bacon and egg roll and the bread roll was the size of his head. Played table tennis in camp kitchen. Small leak in bedroom window due to torrential wind and rain. Club Harrington for dinner on what was to be our last night, grilled barra for me and lamb shanks for Al - both delicious. Received message from Port that park was closed due to flooding so Harrington has us for another 4 days. Popped over to Club Harrington to play darts or snooker but the place is being used as an evacuation centre so we couldn't play. Even the night time bingo was cancelled. Visited Harrrington Hotel just up the road just to get out of the van. Dinner at Harrigans right on the water...the sun actually started coming out.
