Two and a half hour drive to Apollo Bay Recreation Reserve on the Great Ocean Road. Don't know what all the hoo-ha is about this road as it is hilly and windy and like a country road and you don't see much of the ocean at all because of the scrub. This wasn't a pleasant drive - we were glad to get off it. Park is pretty basic but still $40 a night. Lots of cafes and eateries in the main street. A pretty spot with a beautiful bay. Bough a Great Ocean Road tea towel. Had a quick walk around the marina where all the fishing boats are moored.
